Phillip J. Brown

Phillip J. Brown, age 78, passed away December 23, 2016 at his home in Wichita. He was born December 30, 1937, in Medicine Lodge, to Harold Frank and Annabelle (Medlam) Brown. Phil had worked at Boeing, Doonan Peterbilt, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Nancy (Heflin) Brown; and sister, Phyllis Dunsworth. Survivors: wife, Lucy Harting; daughters, Suzan Powell, Tamara Funk (Clifford), and Phyllis Turkle (Steve); grandchildren, Heath, Vanessa, and Jessie Powell, Damon Turkle (Katie), Rachel Wolfe (Justin), Tiffany Dornbusch (Jim), and Corey Funk (Robby); great-grandchildren, Phoenix Powell, Sawyer, Sloane and Stella Turkle, Weston Wolfe, Hunter and Kolby Dornbusch, Sage Erwin, Peyton and Riley Funk, Parker, Garner and Addison Alford; brother, John Brown (Vickey); and sister, Jan Wisley (Ron). Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S. Rock Rd., Wichita. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
