Phillip Anderson

Phillip “Phil” Anderson, age 72, of Douglass, retired Beech Aircraft employee, former Butler County Commissioner and former Mayor of Douglass, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Visitation 1-8 PM Tuesday, Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, April 29, First Christian Church, 303 E. Fourth St. Phil is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Dorothy Anderson. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sharon; son, Phillip (Leah), of Olathe; daughter, Michelle Nispel (Brent), of Douglass; sisters, Beverly Wolcott, Karen Anderson, Rhonda Perkins; grandchildren, Ben, Logan (Ivy), Bayley Nispel and Emma Anderson. A memorial has been established with the Douglass Public Library, 319 S. Forrest, Douglass, KS 67039.
