Peggy Darlene Zavala, age 68, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, May 20th 2016. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; Teddy and Erma Knoll; sister in law; Linda Knoll;daughter-in-law, Stephanie Zavala; granddaughter, Maryssa. She is survived by her husband, David; children, Chris (Julie) Zavala, Kevin (Kelly) Zavala, Tony Zavala, Kimberly Zavala; grandchildren, Mark (Jamie), Audriana (Derek), Ashley, Tyler, Stephan, Amber, Anthony, Alyssa, Amanda, Elijah, Isaiah, Trenton, Addison, Anna, Ainsley, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Alana, Ava, Izabelle, Sebastian, Bentley; brother, Steve (Donna) Knoll; loving extended family. Born in Osborne, Kansas. As a teen she attended Campus and South High Schools, enjoyed singing gospel music and in quartets. She was a long time member of Bethel Life Center and devoted to Christ. Married for over 50 years, enjoyed large family vacations to Disney World and Table Rock Lake, weekend trips to Branson and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday, May 25, family greeting 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary-Derby, 1415 N. Rock Rd; Funeral 10am Thursday, May 26, at Bethel Life Center, 3777 S. Meridian Ave Wichita.
