65, passed away Monday, March 26th, 2018. She was born December 11th, 1952, in Concordia, KS to Arnold and Elfrieda Lohmeyer. Peggy grew up on a farm outside of Palmer, KS where her family raised St. Bernards and had a dairy farm. She was involved in 4-H and an active member at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Peggy graduated from Linn High School in 1970 and then attended Kansas State University where she graduated in 1974 with a degree in Agriculture Science. Upon graduation Peggy moved to Wichita and began working at Boeing Credit Union, as a loan officer. Throughout Peggy's life she was active in her church. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, she served on the church council and volunteered where needed. Peggy was an excellent cook and baker, especially cinnamon rolls and bierocks. She loved her grandchildren and could be found at their various school and sporting activities showing her support. When Peggy wasn't baking or attending youth sporting events she enjoyed watching sports on TV and reading. Peggy has been a host for the Derby Twins Baseball Organization for the past several years. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is preceded in death by mother, Elfrieda Lohmeyer; husband, Edgar Dwire. Peggy is survived by father, Arnold Lohmeyer; brother, Stan Lohmeyer (Alice); daughters, Carrie Osgood-Franklin (LeMarc), Emily Osgood (Stephen);step-sons, David Dwire, Danny Dwire, John Dwire (Lesli), and Hugh Gullic (Heather); step-daughter, Dolly Wilson (Steve); grandchildren, Cayden Brown, Carli, Braylan, Layla and Haisley Osgood, Dayrien and Laniya Franklin, Samantha Wilson, Hunter, Cole, Blake, Spencer, Alex and Laci Dwire, Brody and Bren Gullic; nieces, Amy Pladson (Cory), Melissa Nolte (Bryan). Memorial donations may be made to LWML at Faith Lutheran Church, Victory in the Valley or Derbry Twins Baseball Organization. Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 214 S. Derby Ave. Derby, Ks 67037 on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at 10:00am.
