Peggy Ann Davis (Putman) of Derby, Kansas passed away suddenly on September 21, 2024, at the age of 67.
Peggy was born on August 26, 1957, to the late Otto and Helen (Sechrist) Putman at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. Although she lived in Derby, Kansas since 1997, she still considered Wellsboro her home away from home. She returned as often as she could to visit family and friends and to attend her alumni banquets. Peggy was a licensed agent under David Spachek with American Family Insurance for the past 15 years.
Peggy is survived by her son, Bret Davis, and twin daughters, Jennifer Taylor and Jill (Alec) Martinez, grandson, Cooper Taylor, and granddaughter, Harper Martinez, all of Derby, Kansas. Peggy loved her family very much and was very proud of them. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty (Bernard) Smith and Rosie (Gene) Heck of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and her brother, Tom (Debbie) Putman of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Her beloved dog, Tobie, gained his wings and will be laid to rest with her. Along with family, Peggy leaves behind many wonderful friends across this wonderful nation.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Otto Putman and her brother Robert Putman.
Memorial services are 4pm Saturday, October 19, at LifeChurch in Derby. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
