Paula Clark, 76, of Belle Plaine, KS, went to her eternal home on March 7, 2026, after a short illness. Paula was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She worked for Boeing for a number of years until her retirement. After retiring, she enjoyed the joy of babysitting two of her grandchildren. Paula was full of life and loved to make people laugh—you always had to be on your toes, as you never knew what she was going to say or do. To know Paula was to love Paula.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John Dee of Belle Plaine; a son, Shane (Amy) Buckner of Wichita; a daughter, Heather (Jon) Bristor of Wellington; stepson Derek Clark of Belle Plaine; and stepdaughter Jonnell (Kris) Johnson of Rose Hill. She was Nana to Isabella, Paxton, Jesse, Johnna, Holton, Josey, Loryn, Nolee, Bowen, and Cody, and great-granddaughter Rayna. Paula is also survived by brothers Tim, Dale, and Bob Griffin; sisters Liz Johnson, Julia Traphagan, and Patty Fleak; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on March 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Mortuary in Derby, KS.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Belle Plaine Church of Christ, P.O. Box 927, Belle Plaine, KS 67013.
