Paul Wayne Goates

We are sad to announce the passing of Paul Wayne Goates, 58, on January 12, 2024. His family and friends will remember him as a man’s man. He chose to repair things over buying new. He valued hard work and the value of a man’s word. Paul was employed most recently at Hutton Construction as a carpenter. He spent free time at the casino playing cards and slot machines. Other times just hanging out at home with life partner and best friend, Jennifer Kroll. He was gentle and compassionate with their menagerie of pets. Paul enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and outdoor grilling. Deer hunting seasons he spent with his dad, uncle, and cousins. He also excelled at strategy games, including Chess and any number of card games. Paul is survived by his loving life partner of 35 years, Jennifer Kroll. His mother, Lillie Paulette (Everett) Goates, father Roy Goates, brothers Gene and Randall Goates, sister Starla Henderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on

January 27th at 2:00pm at 1918 W. MacArthur Rd. Wichita, KS 67217

There will be an additional gathering to celebrate Paul’s life with family and friends from 7:00 - 9:00pm on January 27 at BC’s Bar and Grill, located at 4423 S. Broadway Wichita, KS.
