Patrick Deamicis

December 4, 1950 — March 12, 2025

Haysville - Patrick Joseph De Amicis, 74, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025. Born December 4th, 1950, in Inglewood, California to Edmond and Mary DeAmicis. Patrick lived a life characterized by dedication and a deep love for his family.

Patrick devoted 31 years of loyal service to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring in 2001. Known by friends and colleagues as a dependable and skilled craftsman who could tackle any project, Pat was always the first to lend a helping hand, offering both practical wisdom and a quick-witted sense of humor.

A true gardener at heart, Patrick took great pride in his annual tomato crops, generously sharing his harvest with family, friends, and neighbors. His enthusiasm for gardening reflected his nurturing spirit and patience, values that he lovingly instilled in his family. He was the best dog dad to Lilly, who lived longer than expected due to his constant care for her as his companion after the death of his wife.

Patrick was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jeanne Suzanne De Amicis, whose companionship and love remained an enduring influence in his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Dr. Stacey De Amicis, residing in the United Kingdom, Poppie Quinton, of Huntington Beach, California, his sister Kathy Cornejo and niece Amber and her husband Jose Cruz, and their two children, Cayley and Aiden Cruz of La Mirada, California. His legacy of kindness, determination, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
