Ileen Penna

Patricia Ileen Penna, 94, died on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. Ileen was born at Wesley Hospital in Wichita on February 12, 1927. She graduated from East High School in 1944. Ileen was one of the founding members of the Wichita Ski Club in 1958. She worked in the accounting department of various oil companies for 32 years. Ileen was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Lloyd Lucas, her mother, Ann Hunt Lucas, and her brother, Lloyd Wayne Lucas. Her surviving family members are daughter, Helen Ann Harjo, son, Rob Penna (Polly), 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The celebration of her life will held at Culbertson Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca in Wichita on Wednesday, July 28, at 11:00 am. Memorial donations are to be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
