MULVANE- Ott, Patricia A., Vice President of Ott Farms, Inc., Peck, Kansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 23, 2012. Faith, family, and farming were her passions in life. Patricia was born December 23, 1932 in Cheney, Kansas. She married Charles J. Ott, the love of her life, on July 18, 1953. Patricia attended Friends University, studying Psychology. She was a lifelong member of the Mulvane United Methodist Church and member of Mulvane Federated Women’s Club. Favorite pastimes were playing bridge with many friends, watching her grandchildren, and growing roses. Patricia and Charles lived and raised their family on the farm near Peck. She raised a vegetable garden on the farm and enjoyed canning with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Maurine Beckett; sisters Martha Jane McCormick and Betty Beckett. Survived by husband, Charles Ott; sister, Virginia Chichester of Temple Hill, Maryland; four children, Debbie (Gick) Fleming of Leon, Kent (Rebecca) Ott of Mulvane, Diane (Ron) Paul of Mulvane, and Carla (Bob) Calvert of Wichita; six grandsons, Zac (Kathleen) Fleming, Derek (Krysti) Paul, Jared Paul, Samuel (Nicole) Calvert, Thomas (Janet) Calvert, and Cameron Calvert; six granddaughters, Alison (Kyle) Robbins, Erin Anne (Troy) Johnson, Lindsey Ott, Vanessa Fleming, Rachael Ott, and Sara Calvert; four great-grandsons, Dylan Paul, Logan Johnson, Kristopher Paul, and Nicholas Robbins; four great-granddaughters, Maeve Fleming, Adelaide Fleming, Kaitlyn Paul, and RoseMarie Fleming, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Senter-Smith Mortuary, 501 S.E. Louis Blvd., Mulvane, Sunday 2-9, with family present 7-9. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday at Mulvane United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central, Mulvane, KS 67110.
