Patricia L. Mamary

Patricia Mamary, loving wife and mother of 5 children, passed away On Wednesday, November 10, 2022, at the age of 93. Pat was born to Tony and Ruth Hamilton on January 8, 1929, in Nickerson, KS.

After graduating from Nickerson High School, she went to work at Nash Finch Company in Hutchinson, where she met the love of her life. She married Joseph Mamary May 28, 1948, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Hutchinson. They were happily married for 58 years before his passing on April 6, 2006. After raising her five children, she worked at Cessna for 20 years and loved being a secretary in the flight safety and training department.

She was a beautiful example of what a wife, a mother, and a friend should be. She was full of life, and everyone was drawn to her. She enjoyed her family and playing cards, golfing, bowling, sewing, reading and puzzles.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and sister Carole.

She is survived by her 5 children, Kay Daniels, Bruce (Robyn) Mamary, Scott (Missy) Mamary, Patty (Ted) Austin, and Ruth (Larry Hogan) Galloway, 11 grandchildren, Ben Aguilera, Emily Mamary, Katy Mamary, Brad Austin, Michael Galloway, Jason Galloway, Andrew Bayne, Lisa Galloway, Julie Austin, Joey Mamary, Anna Mamary and 7

great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Smith Mortuary in Derby, KS from 4:00-8:00 pm with family present 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral will be Wednesday November 23, 2022, at St. Mary Church in Derby, KS at 2:00 pm, with rosary at 1:30 pm.
