Patricia Ann Lansdowne

Patricia Ann Lansdowne passed peacefully with family, on March 10, 2023 in Houston, Texas, at the age

of 79. Patricia was born to William Stark and Wanneta Elizabeth Stoskopf on May 20, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas.

Patricia Stark graduated from West High School in Wichita with the class of 1961. Patricia briefly

attended Westmar College, then moved to Wichita State University, later completing a degree in English

Education.

She married Rodney Douglas Lansdowne on November 9, 1963, and together they raised

three children. Patricia lived in the College Hill neighborhood from 1972 to 2004, then moved to Clear

Lake in Houston, Texas. In Houston, Patricia attended Clear Lake United Methodist Church as a member

of the choir.

Patricia will be remembered for valuing her children’s education and for seeking opportunities to

develop their life skills and creativity. She found joy in experimental cooking, and in a variety of dance,

music, and theatre genres. Patricia cared for Rodney during his final years.

Patricia is survived by her children, Elisa Lansdowne, Catherine Lansdowne, and Chatwin and wife

Samme Lansdowne, grandchildren Ian and Erin Lansdowne, sister Diane Kirchgassner, and brothers

William, Raymond, and Richard.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Johle, and first son Arthur Nigel who died in infancy.

Graveside Service will be held 11am March 29th at Rose Hill Cemetery, where Patricia will be laid to rest.
