Patricia Kathryn Gray

DERBY – Gray, Patricia Kathryn, 85, born in Lenora, KS and graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1944, retired baker, she went to be with her Lord, Thursday, July 28, 2011. Patricia will be remembered as Grandma Cookie to her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She had been a baker for over 50 years at Cowan Bakery, White Kitchen Bakery, Walls & Blairs IGA, retiring from the Wichita Marriott as head baker. Visitation Sunday, 1-8 p.m. and Monday 9 a.m -6 p.m; Rosary 7 p.m. Monday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS; Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 East Meadowlark, Derby, KS; Graveside Service 3 p.m., Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Adelbert & Mary Margaret (Rongish) Cowan; brothers, Don & Hugh Cowan. Survivors to include: children, Robert (Lana); Mary (Tim) Jones; John (Debra); Steve (Marcella); David (Susie); 11 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren; brother, K.C. (Gloria) Cowan of Chippewa Falls, WI; sister, Marilyn Davis of Scottsdale, AZ.
