Opal Wagner Foster, age 93, retired Means Analytical Laboratory employee, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Visitation 2-8 PM Thursday and 1-8 PM Friday, with family receiving friends 6-8 PM Friday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service 10 AM Saturday, Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 352 N. Young. Opal is preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Foster; parents, George & Nancy Wagner; brothers Amon, Armond, Dayton, Estes and Austin Wagner; sisters, Velma and Argyl Wagner. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Dale) Powell, of Wichita; brother, B.B. (Georgia) Wagner, of Troutman, NC; sister, Ovanell (Paul) Corriher, of Statesville, NC; sister-in-law, Thelma Wagner, of Elkin, NC; grandchildren, Elton Powell and Lesley Wells; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Dalton, Preston, Katelin, Lucky, Bret, DeKota, Cody, Kyle, Samantha, Shawn, Erin, Ashleigh, and Braydon; great-great-granddaughter, Tristan.
