Norman Leroy Sailer
August 11, 1944 — December 28, 2020
Wichita - Norman LeRoy Sailer, 76, passed away Monday, December 28th, 2020 after a long, brave battle with cancer. He was born August 11th, 1944 to Jamie Ward Sailer and Lotus Aldine Eckert Sailer in Leon, Kansas. He graduated from DeVry Tech in Chicago in the early 70's. As a teenager he learned to fly and parachute. He liked to waterski barefoot in the river during festivals. Norman was a computer programmer for Apple and published educational computer games. He enjoyed adventure and friends.
He was preceded in death by his his parents.
Norman is survived by his wife of 22 years, Crystal Gage Sailer; aunt, Rosemary; brother, Steve; sons, Darren, Brian, and Chad; step-daughter, Sheri; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice.
