Norbert Raphael Reel, age 93, of Andover, retired Boeing Company employee, passed away Sunday, April 19. Visitation 1-7 PM Friday, April 24, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, and the Vigil Service/Rosary starting at 7 PM, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, April 25, St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark, Derby. Norbert is preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine; parents, James & Rosa Reel; brothers, James, Raymond, Francis and Joseph; half-brothers, Edwin and John; half sisters, Patricia Gower, Sr. Laurentine Reel, and Marcelline Ferguson; and grandson, Christopher Lee Reel. Survivors include his sons, Norbert B. (Pat), Wichita, John K. (Diana), Derby; daughters, Patricia Davis (William), Goddard, Anita Bennett (Michael), Kalispell, MT; sisters, Margaurite Sanderson, Battle Creek, MI, Pauline Fellows, Rialto, CA, Regis Beron, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
