Nina Dale Batson

Nina Dale Batson, 89, passed away March 1, 2017. Nina was born in Calico Rock, AR to Hubert and Lennie (McCurle) Sherrell on January 25, 1928. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville; funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Midway Baptist Church, 5135 S. Broadway, Wichita. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Batson, and son Billy Batson. Survivors include her son, Donald Batson (Carolyn) of Haysville; daughter Linda Batson-Tucker of Wichita; 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Nina was a hard worker and finally retired at age 86. She loved the Lord and her family, and will truly be missed.
