Nicole Lynn Infinger (Henderson) was born on February 20, 1972, to Gary and Sharon Infinger of Chesapeake, VA, and formerly of Mulvane, KS. She was the youngest of three daughters and the little sister to Tawnya Grant (Wayne) and Kimberly Grimes (Robert). She was a brave child and very competitive. She played volleyball and softball and coached her daughter Minalynn's softball team. She loved to ride her horse, "Star," on the country roads of rural Mulvane.
She was born in Sedalia, MO, and moved to Mulvane, KS, with her family in 1979 at the age of 7. Mulvane remained her home throughout her childhood and most of her adult life. She grew up in the First Baptist Church of Mulvane and graduated from Mulvane High School, Class of 1990-Go Wildcats!
After high school, Nicole began working for Checker's Grocery Store in Wichita, where she met her husband, James Schreffler. Together they were blessed with three children: Silas Schreffler (Paige), Timothy Schreffler, and Minalynn Schreffler. After the marriage ended, Nicole was blessed with a son, Aaden Hope. Her family continued to grow with the addition of her cherished grandchildren, Silas Lee Jr. (Silas and Paige) and Lennox James (Minalynn).
Nicole had a heart for helping others, especially those with special needs. She served as a case worker with Starkey and as a paraeducator with USD 259. Above all, her greatest joy was her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In 2016, Nicole became a brain injury survivor and lived many years beyond the doctors' expectations. She went home to be with Jesus on March 19, 2026.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Sharon Infinger; her two sisters; her children; and her grandchildren.
