Neil Shaffer, 83, farmer, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Visitation: 2-8 pm Friday, August 30, 2013 with the family greeting friends 5-7pm, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Service: 10am
Saturday, August 31, 2013, Derby Church of Christ, 225 N. Derby St. Derby, KS. Neil is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Beulah Vandervoort Shaffer; wife, Kathlene; son, Thomas. Survived by daughter, Nancy Taylor (Nick) of Oakland, CA; grandsons, Jeff Taylor and Chris Taylor. Memorials established with Know Your Bible and Carpenter Place.
