Nancy Elizabeth Wells

Nancy E. Wells, 56, went to be with her Lord on January 10, 2017. She was retired from Boeing after 17 years of service. Nancy had a very kind and generous spirit. In 1997, she traveled to Israel with her mother and was re-baptized in the River Jordan, a very fond memory. Survivors include her children, Sarah Hastings (Justin) of Augusta, Jacquilin Wells of Jacksonville, FL., Joshua Wells of Belle Plaine; mother, Elma Jackson; father and step-mother, Robert “Bob” and Becky Jackson, all of Newton; siblings, Carol Drake (Kenneth) of Towanda, Randy Jackson of Newton, Beverly Roach (Bill) of Ft. Worth, TX; Nana to 7 grandchildren, Layne, Thomas, Logan, Abigail, Tatum, Aryah and Amare; her beloved four legged companion, Bailey; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Darrell Dean and M. Scott Jackson. Viewing: 2-8pm Wednesday, January 18, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, with family present from 5-7pm. Funeral service: 3pm Thursday, January 19, Belle Plaine United Methodist Church, 124 E. 10th, Belle Plaine. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Belle Plaine Church of Christ, 932 N.
