Nancy Jane Weaver

Nancy J. (Griffin) Weaver, homemaker, wife and mother, went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2021. Nancy was born June 17, 1948 in LaJunta, Colorado, but lived most of her life in Wichita. She attended West High School in Wichita, and then went to Bellflower High and Paramount High in California. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Leland; two daughters, Lori Zimmerman (Paul), and Dana Brown (Andrew), one sister Alma Nettleton of California; five grandchildren, Jason Zimmerman (Abbey), Zach Zimmerman (Kandis), Alisha Hull (Tony), Kaylee Brown, Joshua Brown (Sarah), and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father William A. Griffin, her mother Edith Griffin, and a step-sister Rosetta Slocum. She was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church of Wichita.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the KS Humane Society of Wichita, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital of Memphis, TN.

Visitation 4-8pm with family present 6-8pm Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. Funeral Services 1:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 21, at Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
