Nancy Jeanne Mueller

December 8, 1948 — April 7, 2025

Nancy Jeanne Mueller, 76, passed away on April 7, 2025 at home.

Nancy was born December 8, 1948 to Melvin and Cleda (York) Taylor in Enid, Oklahoma. Nancy was the middle child of five sisters. She came from a large family - one of 28 maternal cousins. They all grew up together in Oklahoma and Kansas, mainly Shidler, Oklahoma. For weekends, summer vacations, and holidays it was common for them all to meet at their Grandma’s and Grandpa’s place.

Nancy loved her family with all her heart, especially her grandchildren and took great pride in each of them. She enjoyed cheering them on at their events and watching them grow into adults. She loved spending time with her first-born grandson and enjoyed all the themed sleepovers she had with all her grand-daughters together.

Nancy also loved the time she and Rick spent at the speedway while he raced. She was always his biggest fan whether she was in the stands or in the pits. You could always find her wearing her purple 9X gear. Nancy was an animal lover and treated them as part of the family.

Nancy looked forward to holidays and get-togethers with her family and friends. She loved to cook and the only way she knew how to cook was for a crowd and to cook way too much food. But it made her happy to have last minute guests and to send food home with family.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard (Rick) Mueller, daughter Kelly Hilmes (Luke), step-daughters Amy Bertha and Lora Hull (Jared), grand-children Karlton Kinley, Kacie Kinley, Emma Hull, Jamie Mercer (Jonathan), Madelynn Hull, Julie Bertha, step grand-children Talon Hilmes, Garrett Hilmes, Taylor Hilmes, sister Terry Ferguson, and Buddy, her and Rick’s beloved dog.
