Nancy E. Cox

Nancy Ellen Cox was born August 16, 1935 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Roy and Evelyn Bratton Hughes. She worked as a purchasing secretary at Vulcan Chemicals. Nancy died Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 78 years. She loved playing bridge, bowling, bingo, golf, gambling, dancing and skating. Nancy is survived by her husband, Virgil; son, Dennis Cox and wife Sheri; daughters, Delena Farmer and husband Scott, Deanna Burroughs and husband Norman; brother, Glenn Hughes and wife Judy; sister, Carol Cummings and husband Don; grandchildren, Sarah, Candise, Amanda; step-grandchildren, Crystal and sandy; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Kaleb, John Clyde “J.C.”, Bobby, Erin and 2 in the oven. Her parents precede her in death. Visitation: 2-8pm Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Private graveside services will be held.
