Nadene J Brass

Haysville - Nadene J Brass 87, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was born June 7, 1934 to Elmer and Loretta Lewis in Wauneta, Nebraska.

Nadene loved spending time with her family, and spoiled her grandkids at every opportunity. She loved all animals but especially dogs - they were her fur babies. In later years you could find her either watching old westerns or working her Cryptograms. She had a loving and compasionate heart for others and loved to be needed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin M. Brass, Jr.; parents, Elmer and Loretta Lewis; siblings, Lorene, Vera, Glen, Kenneth, Reva and John.

Nadene is survived by her children, Terry (Sue) Brass, Michael Scott (Cindi) Brass, Lori (Bob) Coykendall; grandchildren, Samantha (Philip) Griffin, Cody (Christina) Davis, Sydney (Josh) Strotkamp, Danielle Brass, Broderick Brass; great-grandchildren, Macie Griffin, Halee Griffin, Walker Griffin, Christian Griffin, Rylee Strotkamp, Charlee Strotkamp; siblings, Lois Kanost, Lloyd (Doris) Lewis, and Jim (Charlene) Lewis.

Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Smith Mortuary - Haysville 7031 S. Broadway Haysville, Kansas 67060.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lifeline Animal Placement & Protection, 310 W 45th St N, Wichita, KS 67204. Mom loved dogs and would be honored to have donations made to this organization.
