Monte Alfred Long

WICHITA-Long, Monte Alfred, 62, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Visitation 4-7 Friday, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Casual wake will be held at the Long residence, 5411 S. Glenn, Saturday, 4-7. Monte was a Union Machinist and a Veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Guy and Martha Elisabeth (Bristol) Long, and brothers Robert and Stanley Long. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jolyn (Flanery) Long; children Sabryna JoAnn (Paul) Boles and Kristopher James (Christina) Long; grandchildren Rachel JoAnn and Zackery James Boles, Cierra Jade, Kalel James, Kara Jenae and Kali Justine Long; siblings Eugene (Carolynn) Long, Alan Long, and Carolyn Long.
