Milton Roy Mcdaniel

Milton R. McDaniel, age 88, of Mulvane, retired owner M&M Hardware, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. Visitation 3-8 PM Wednesday, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, and 1-5 PM Thursday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Rosary 7 PM Thursday, Funeral Mass 10 AM Friday, both at St. Michael Catholic Church, 545 E. Main, Mulvane. Interment will follow at Mulvane Cemetery. Milton was a WWII Navy veteran who served in Okinawa, and also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service. Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Ruby McDaniel; brother, Donald D. McDaniel; and sisters, Paula Snyder and Bessie Davis. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Monica; sons, Edward (Laura), Arnold, MD, Duane (Joyce), James (Jennifer), Joseph (Judi), all of Mulvane; daughters, Donna, Smithfield, VA, and Margaret Weaver (Phillip), Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Denman (Rachel), Susan Stevens (James), Thomas J, Christopher, Jacob, Katherine and Alyssa McDaniel, Elliott, Nathan and Audrey Weaver.
