Mildred G. Thomas, 87, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. Visitation 1-8 Thursday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Service: 10am Friday, Poplar Avenue Church of Christ, 600 S. Poplar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah “Lee” Thomas; brothers Archie Day, Gilbert Day, Leonard Day. Survived by children Linda (Carl) Folster of Topeka, Gary (Debbie) Thomas of Augusta, Larry (Sheba) Thomas of Wichita, and Karen (Gerald) Drummond of Argonia; sisters Joletha Draper and Georgia Phillips; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Poplar Avenue Church of Christ.
