Mildred Irene "Millie," Linehan, 93, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. She was born to Homer and Mabel (Johnson) Shriner in Curtis, Nebraska on May 13, 1922. Millie served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as Yeomen 3rd Class. After separation from the Navy, she went to work for Cessna and Boeing for many years, retiring in 1988. She was preceded in death by her son, Denis "Pat" Linehan; sisters Clairmae Sunday and Carolyn Shriner, brothers Dick Shriner, and Homer Shriner, Jr., who passed away during WWII. Millie is survived by her son, Jim Linehan of Derby, grandchildren Jamie (Mike) Hudson, Lori (Mike) Gambill, Steven (Amanda) Linehan, Ryan Linehan; great-grandchildren Brandon Rogers, Kai Gambill, Reid and Hayes Linehan, Corbin Hudson, Emily Rogers and Tammy Hudson; and nieces and nephews Linda Culhane, Dorothy and Bill Davenport, Sharon Bond, Richard Van Auken, and Greg Parsons. Visitation 1-8 p.m., Friday, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Old Mission Cemetery, 3424 E. 21st St. N., Wichita.
