Michelle Lynn Keller, 56, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center with her partner, Kate, by her side. Born on June 3, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, Michelle was a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who knew her.
She was the cherished daughter of the late David Keller and Tootie Ramsier and the sister of the late Marla Doerfer. Michelle is lovingly survived by her siblings, Alan Keller and Monna Lee (Ken) Kreitz, as well as her children, Kevin (Tiffany) Ouellette, Kristopher (Amanda) Ouellette, Samual (Tricia) Foselton, and Elysa Scott. Her grandchildren—Leiland, Logan, Rayden, Wednesday, Emilie, Bethany, Payslie, Aliyah, Kionna, and Kiara—were the pride and joy of her life, bringing her immense happiness and fulfillment.
Michelle worked as an Operations Supervisor at Hi-Pro Inc., where she was admired for her hard work, sense of humor, and ability to uplift everyone around her.
Known for her goofy, light-hearted personality, Michelle had a knack for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. She loved causing mischief with her friends and family, spreading joy wherever she went. Beneath her playful demeanor, Michelle was a fiercely loyal protector of those she loved, always ready to stand up for her friends and family with unwavering support.
Michelle leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and steadfast devotion. Her family and friends will forever remember her infectious smile, her gift for finding joy in life’s simple pleasures, and her unyielding dedication to those she held dear.
A visitation for Michelle will be held on Thursday, January 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Mortuary in Derby, Kansas. A graveside service will follow on Friday, January 24, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mulvane, Kansas.
Michelle’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
