Michelle L. Eskeli, 53, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born November 11, 1964 to Kenneth and Marlene (Lundstrom) Guerrier in Worcester, MA. Michelle moved to Kansas in 1991 from New Hampshire. Originally, her and her family lived in Wichita, KS where Keith was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base. During that time, she was involved in the women’s auxiliary and helped support the wives of airmen who were new to the experience of military service. In 1992 they moved from Wichita, KS to Rose Hill, KS so that her son, John could grow up in a wholesome community with a great school system. As a 25-year resident of Rose Hill, Michelle served on the park board and was a scout leader for her son’s troop. Michelle was always present at any of John’s school events, cheering him on. In Michelle’s free time, she enjoyed sewing, hanging out with her family, spending time with her grandson, Beau, as well as singing karaoke at local venues. Michelle is remembered as having a bright demeanor and a very magnetic, cheerful personality. She loved to be happy and to bring smiles to the faces of anyone she encountered. She was preceded in death by her parents; Michelle is survived by her son, John (Jeanne) Eskeli; grandson, Beau Eskeli; siblings, Roxane Ernest and Kevin Guerrier. Memorial Service: 2 pm, Monday, January 8, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery.
