Powell, Michael E., 71, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born November 11, 1942 in Wichita, KS to Dale and Lorene (Bowlin) Powell. Michael was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a humble man who loved to tinker and care for animals. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his wife of 6 years, Vicki Powell; children, Michael Powell, Jr., Anglea Ekis, and Lorene Holt; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
