Mendenhall, Michael Charles, 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Monday, August 14, 2017.
He was born April 24, 1947, to RC and Katherine (Jones) Mendenhall, who preceded him in death. Mike was an avid motorcycle flat track racer and fan.
Michael is survived by his wife, Nancy (Hjort); daughters Amy Jo Anderson (Jason), Katheryn Tanner (Brian); grandchildren Michael, Gus, and Colette Tanner, and Cassandra and Oscar Anderson.
Gathering with family Tuesday, August 15, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby. Memorial service 1:30 pm, Wednesday, August 16, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
