Michael L. Cox

Michael L. Cox, of Derby, age 67, loving husband, father, grandfather and retired Beechcraft employee, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Visitation 1-8 pm Sunday, November 20, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 10 am Monday, November 21, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. He was born September 21, 1949 in Wichita, to Ernest and Geri Cox. He married Debra Buckett, October 17, 1980, in Wichita. Michael is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Deb; son, Jeremy Cox (Jennifer), of Derby; daughter, Jennifer Cox, of Wichita; brother, Steve Cox, of Wichita; grandchildren, Harper and Camden Cox and Paisley Robbins.
