May 8, 1928 — August 31, 2016
Bowmaker, Michael Maurice, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Visitation Friday 1-4 p.m., at Smith Mortuary-Haysville, 7031 S. Broadway. Recitation of the Rosary Friday at 6:00 p.m.; Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1900 W. Grand Ave., Haysville. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Donnis; son Robert Bowmaker, and grandson Kyle Bowmaker. Survived by children Theresa (Leon) Rupp, Anita (Don) Watson, Rebecca (Dean) Ladd, Pamela (Patrick) Spence, Karin (Tim) Miller, Kevin (Marcie) Bowmaker; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings Tina Cogar, Don Bowmaker, and Marion Bowmaker. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the church.
