Melvin Duane Fountain, age 79, of Derby, beloved father, died Wednesday, January 19. 2011 He is a retired US Air Force Staff Sergeant who grew up in Wichita and traveled the world. Service 3 PM Friday with visitation prior to service, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Survivors: daughters, Michelle (Steve) Jones, of Jacksonville, FL, Vancie (Lee) Frazee, of Broken Arrow, OK, Karlene (Dean) Sorenson, of Derby; grandchildren, Dale, Bryan (Nicole), Kara, Emily (Daniel), Lindsey (Brian), and Brennen; 7 great-grandchildren.
