Melvia Dean Bottoms Withers, 80, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Crestview, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lenora Petrey; husband, Robert Withers; son, Ray Bottoms; brother, Harrell Petrey; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bottoms; and sister-in-law, Charlie Jean Petrey. Melvia is survived by her children, Phillip (Barbara) Bottoms, Shirley (Clint) Ward, Wanda (Eric) Evans, and Linda (DeWitt) Domebo; grandchildren, Curtis (Dana) Bottoms, Angela Bottoms, Christopher Ward, Jonathan (Laura) Evans, Michael (Natalie) Evans, Erica (Jonathan) Berry, Nathan Evans, Anna Evans, Emily Domebo, and Elizabeth “Boo” Domebo; great-grandchildren, Brandon Ward, Jocelyn Evans, Sailor Evans, Joseph Ward, Adinae Berry, Phoebe Evans, Gabrielle Horst, Garland Horst, Kayla Berry, and Kali Berry; siblings, Buddy Petrey, Darrell Petrey, Dorothy Jean (Tom) Peoples, and Jearlene (Jerry) Stowe; and sister-in-law, Agnes Petrey. Visitation: Friday, November 25, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 8 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Saturday, November 26; both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.
