Melburn Douglas Clothier

Clothier, Melburn Douglas “Doug,” 73, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Viewing one hour prior to service. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Leona (Woolery) Clothier. Survived by wife, Karen Clothier; children Mitchell Douglas (Sharon) Clothier, Kelly (Shawn) Sullivan, all of Haysville; grandchildren Zachary Douglas Clothier, Ian Sullivan, Nicholas Clothier, Marissa Sullivan; and sister Priscilla “Sue (Arlie) Hawkins, Ft. Worth, TX. Memorials have been established with American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 300 N. Main, Ste. 300, Wichita, KS 67202. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Harry Hynes Hospice for their tender care during Doug’s final days.
