Maynard M. Haldeman

Haldeman, Maynard M., age 94, of Derby, formerly of Abilene, World War II US Army veteran and retired Operations Manager for American National Resources, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. Visitation 1-8 Tuesday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral services 1 PM Wednesday, May 20, First Christian Church, 612 N. Buckeye Ave., Abilene, KS. Maynard is preceded in death by his parents, John & Viola Haldeman, and brothers, Verl and Lowell Haldeman. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shirley; son Craig Haldeman (Nancy), of Manhattan, KS; daughter, Teena Eberle (Russ), of Derby; stepson, Phillip Houtz, of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughters, Danelle, Kristen and Brook; and 4 great-grandsons. Memorials have been established with First Christian Church, 612 Buckeye Ave, Abilene, KS 67410 and Alzheimers Association, 1820 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214.
