Maxine Rhodes

Rhodes, Maxine, 85, passed away on April 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Weldon (Rusty) Rhodes of Aubrey, Texas., her son Sandy Rhodes, Burleson, Texas., and by her daughter Patricia Schell, Joplin, Missouri. She is survived by her three daughters, Betty (Doug) McCall of Wichita, Kansas, Connie (Buck) Cole, Moriarty, New Mexico, Tammie (Mike) McCool, Aubrey, Texas, and son Robert Rhodes, Derby, Kansas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, April 26, Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, Kansas. Graveside service will be held at the Gribble Springs Baptist Church outside Sanger, Texas. at 2 pm, April 28. Memorials may be donated in her honor to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, 424 E. Harvey, Wellington, KS 67152. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, and will be deeply missed.
