Max Dewayne Anderson

Anderson, Max DeWayne, age 66, loving husband and father, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014. He was born December 23, 1947 to Walt and Dorothy Mae (Farr) Anderson in Wichita, KS. Max served in the Army during Vietnam and spent time in Germany, Australia, and Vietnam. He retired from Learjet after 41 years of service as CNC Machinist. Max enjoyed farming, fishing, and providing for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walt Anderson and Dorothy Jones. Max is survived by his wife of 32 years, Juanita Anderson of Douglass, KS; daughter, Janet (Terry) Davis of Andover, KS; step-daughter, Marcene Fransen of Ontario, Canada; brother, Darreld (Marlene) Wheeler of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Hailee Davis and Jacob Davis; and step-grandsons, Ryan Fransen and James Fransen. Visitation: Thursday, 4 to 7 pm. Funeral: 2 pm, Friday, June 13, 2014; both at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Douglass Cemetery.
