Burk, Maurice "Maury", age 55, former Lake Point Nursing Home employee, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday, May 23, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Funeral Service 10 AM Tuesday, May 24, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Maury is preceded in death by his parents, Gloyd Burk and Peggy Cobb; and a brother, David Burk. Survivors: brother, Larry Burk (Donna), of Kechi; niece, Michelle Orsman (Matthew), of Mulvane; nephews, David Burk (Amanda), of Rose Hill, Paul Burk (Brandy), of Wichita, Kenneth Burk (Elizabeth), of Park City, Michael Burk (April), of Atlanta, GA, James Burk, of Wichita; half sisters, Denise Hammond (Chris), of Olathe, DeAnn Laham, of Wichita; half brother, Michael Burk, of Wichita; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
