Maureen Coleman

Maureen Coleman, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born March 25, 1947 to Gloyd and Frances Pickett in Emporia, Kansas.

Maureen enjoyed going to breakfast and Black Friday shopping with her granddaughters when they were all younger; attending grandkids plays, concerts and sports events; going to Church; working out and doing water aerobics at the Y with friends; baking and trying new recipes and also recipes from her Grandma Georgia and having family and friends get together at the house for meals and celebrations.

Preceded in death by her parents; children, Angela Nelson and David Coleman, granddaughter Brianne Nelson, and brother, David Pickett.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Max; children, Kimberly (Chad) Cox, Kristopher Coleman, Carrie Coleman; grandchildren, Katie (Christian) Stratton, Abbey (Christopher) Read, Sarah (Kaden) Robinson, Hanna Cox, Eli Coleman, Hayden Coleman, Georgia Coleman, Kelce Coleman, Dalous Winebrenner, Ryland Winebrenner, Lilyana Chavez, Calvin Coleman; great grandchildren, Jesse Stratton, Joel Stratton and Flora Stratton.

Memorial service is 10:00 am Saturday, January 24 at Northridge Friends Church, 2655 N Bullinger St, Wichita, KS 67204.
