Matthew David Abrams

Abrams, Matthew David, 46, passed away Thursday, October 31st, 2024. He was born October 6th, 1978 to Dennis and Elizabeth Abrams, in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Matthew graduated Derby High School in 1997 then went on to be in the United States Marine Reserves from 1997 to 2002. He also graduated from the University of Phoenix and worked in information technology for 17 years. Matt was a member of the Derby Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gaming, working on technology and computer software. He was also a giving and loving person who had a wonderful smile and great sense of humor.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Mary Abrams and William and Lora Hedden. Survivors include his parents; brothers, Daniel Abrams, Ben (Sabrina) Abrams, Richard (Victoria) Abrams, Timothy Abrams; nieces, Penny Abrams, Alexa Oyler and many other uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial Service is 2:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Smith Mortuary, Derby 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037.
