Mary Eminly Dunn Shirley

DERBY- Shirley, Mary E., 93, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011. Visitation 9-4 p.m. Wednesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Graveside service 10 a.m. Thursday, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in several Senior Center activities. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Minnie Ruminer, and two husbands, William Dunn and Leo Shirley. Survived by step sons William R. (Barbara) Shirley, Topeka; John E. (Joyce) Shirley, Manteca, California; and Milton T. Shirley, Arcadia, Florida; and niece, Mary E. Hefley, Topeka. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 608 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67203.
