Mary Martinez

Wichita - Mary Martinez 79, passed away Thursday, January 23rd, 2020. Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary 115 South Seneca Wichita, Kansas 67213.

Mary was born April 25th, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas to Miguel and Nicholosa Diaz. She attended school at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. After school she went to work Freeman Poulty, Excel for 15 years plus and St. Francis Hospital and after many years due to her Parkinson's diagnosis, she retired from St Francis Hospital. Mary loved spending time with her family & friends, wearing different hats, listening to music and driving around in her gray Cadillac and when she no longer was able to drive she would sit in her car or on the porch for hours listening to her old school music and enjoying the beautiful weather.

She is preceded by death by her parents Miguel and Nicholosa Diaz and her daughter in law Jill Arellano-Martinez.

Mary was survived by her sons Michael, David (Tracy) her daughter Renee, and her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
