Mary Lou Kopyscinski

Mary Lou Kopyscinski. age 83, of Derby, won her battle with Alzheimer's and went home to be with Jesus on April 26, 2018. Mary Lou was born February 16, 1935 in Wichita Falls, TX. She married Edward John Kopyscinski on July 16, 1955. They lived in Oklahoma, Spain, Massachusetts and Texas before retiring in Derby, KS. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers. Survivors: son, Philip Eugene Kopyscinski (Rhonda), Newcastle, OK; daughters, Kim Jamison, Wichita, and Judy Jerrell (Phillip), Olivehurst, CA; brother, Robert Simmons (Sara), Holiday,TX; sister, Ruth Williams (Tommy), Waco,TX; grandchildren, Christiana Albers (David), Moore, OK, and Philip John Kopyscinski (Tracie), Newcastle, OK; great-grandchildren,Philip Wayne, Emma Belle and Thea Grace Kopyscinski. Visitation 1 - 8 pm Friday with no family present. Funeral service 11 am Saturday, May 5, Smith Mortuary, Derby. Her family will receive friends 10 am to service time.
