Mary D. Gibson, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Friday; funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, both at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Mary was very loving and devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joetta Wentling. Survived by her loving husband, Dean; children Michael Gibson of Haysville, Sherry (Tracy) Giddens of Wichita, and Rocky Gibson of Haysville; grandchildren Shane Wentling, Jordyn Giddens, and Gage Giddens; siblings Larry Carpenter and Betty Bailey. Memorials have been established with Cancer Center of Kansas, 818 N. Emporia Ave., Wichita, KS 67214, and Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67218.
