Mary Frances Carpenter, 90 of Mulvane, KS passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. Mary was born July 13, 1925 in Tipton, OK, the daughter of Oscar and Myrtle (Copeland) Hudspeth. She married Bruce L. Carpenter who preceded her in death in 2004. Survivors include her children, Ronnie D. Rutledge, Mulvane, Oleta G. Rogers, Mulvane, Cindy Sowards (Mike) Wichita, KS, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1-6 Tuesday, January 26 with family receiving all friends from 3-6 PM at Smith Family Mortuary, Derby, KS. Graveside services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Andover Cemetery, 21st & Andover Rd. Memorial contributions are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
