Mary E. Fanello

Fanello, Mary E., 93, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 5, 2015. She was born and raised in Pittsburg, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fanello; parents, John and Jennie (Gavin) Forshay; and sisters, Dorothy Segat and Shirley Palmer. Mary is survived by her sons, John Fanello, Pat (Lana) Fanello, and Alan (Barbara) Fanello; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will all miss her influence in their lives. Visitation: Monday, 1 to 5 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Rosary: 7 pm, Monday at St. Mary Faith Center. Mass of Christian Burial: 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at St. Mary Faith Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Building Fund, 2300 E.
