Mary Epley

Mary Alice Epley, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 in Wichita, Ks. She was born on August 7, 1955 in Wichita.

Mary was united in marriage to Michael Epley on June 13, 1981. Together they shared over four decades of marriage and were blessed with four daughters. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was always the center of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Munhall; her father, William “Bill” Munhall; and her sister, Vicky Lynn.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Michael Epley; her four daughters, Meloni Ray, Brandy Gooch (Tim), Angela Epley-Ingram (Brad), and Samantha Epley-Patterson (Anthony); twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, with one more great-grandchild on the way; and her sisters, Linda Hafer, Karen Hefner, Irene Hinman, and Diana Lee.

Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and strong faith in Lord. Her legacy lives on through the many generations who were blessed to know and love her.

Memorial services are 2pm Friday, January 16, at Smith Family Mortuary in Haysville.
